Rishi Sunak was born on 12 May 1980 in Southampton, UK. His mother's name is Usha Sunak and father's name is Yashveer Sunak. He is the eldest of three siblings. His grandparents were from Punjab. Rishi is married to Akshata Murthy, daughter of Narayana Murthy, the founder of Infosys, one of India's biggest industrialists. Sunak and Akshata have two daughters.
