The Ministry of Railways has taken a big step to prevent accidents with trains. Giving information about this on Wednesday, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that a new design of a special type of boundary wall has been allowed to prevent such accidents. He informed that the new boundary wall would be installed along the tracks in the next 5-6 months. It is noteworthy that in the recent past, such incidents have come to the fore one after the other with the country's corporate train Vande Bharat. After which the Railways has taken this step.
It is worth noting that in the last month of October, the Vande Bharat train collided with cattle several times. Two such incidents happened in two consecutive days. In one such incident, the Gandhinagar-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express rammed into a cow. The front portion of the train was also slightly damaged due to the accident. This incident took place near Anand station in Gujarat. Although there was no harm to any passenger in the accident. A day before this accident, a semi-high speed train had hit four buffaloes. After which a part of it had to be changed.
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav had also reacted to that incident. He had said that collision with cattle on the tracks is inevitable. This has been kept in mind while designing the semi-high speed Vande Bharat train. During this, he had also said that steps are being taken to prevent accidents with cattle.
