Lisa Slammed by Chinese Netizens for Short Shorts and High-Slit Costumes on Blackpink’s Deadline Tour

Haters claim her choreography is “vulgar,” sparking debate over fashion, performance, and double standards for female idols.

You’d think society would have progressed enough for women to wear whatever they want — but apparently, we’re still far from that.

Recently, Blackpink's Lisa found herself at the centre of online backlash over her stage outfits during the South Korean girl group’s concerts

The 28-year-old, who has worn short shorts and high-slit costumes throughout the Deadline World Tour, has been repeatedly attacked on Chinese social media by haters who claim her clothing is too provocative.

And as if criticising her outfits wasn’t enough, many also took aim at her dance moves.

They argued that the choreography for her sexier performances features movements that “expose the hips” and “border on indecency”, accusing her of “setting a bad example for minors.”

And trust us — netizens did not hold back.

“Forever just her butt cheeks shaking,” one user scolded, while another slammed her performance as “so vulgar”.

The outrage escalated to the point where some claimed they no longer wanted to see her content at all. “Please, Weibo, ban her,” one hater pleaded.

Thankfully, fans were quick to shut down the unsolicited criticism.

“She dances too well and people are just jealous,” one fan defended.

Another chimed in: “It feels like this choreography is just meant to be this way.”
