The comments came during a live session where Sheryl appeared to downplay the situation, insisting she had already moved on and was currently in a new relationship.

“Kama singekuwa na mtu ndio ningekuwa naumia. Mimi Nina mtu saa hii mwenye ananipenda, he's an American citizen. I honestly give Steve Nice and Hannah Benta my blessing,” she said.

 

During the livestream, Sheryl maintained that she was at peace with the situation and insisted her focus was now on her current relationship.She repeatedly shifted attention back to her current relationship, insisting she now had someone who loved her and treated her well.
