Boy, 3, took train alone from Rotterdam to Eindhoven
A 3-year-old boy went on quite the adventure on Monday. He somehow traveled all alone by train from Rotterdam to Eindhoven, a one-hour trip. NS security staff reunited him with his very worried mother, NS’s Security Service Eindhoven reported on Instagram.
The department posted a photo to its Instagram stories, showing the little boy walking hand in hand with an NS employee at a train station in Eindhoven.
NS didn’t say how the boy ended up on a train by himself, or how he was noticed. But a call to the control room meant that NS employees were waiting for him at the Eindhoven station while other NS workers were figuring out how to reunite him with his mother.
Breda turned out to be the solution. In Eindhoven, the boy boarded a train to Breda with two NS employees. At the same time, NS workers accompanied his mother from Rotterdam to the same station, where they were reunited.
