Teej song from Jhingedau 2 gains popularity online 

KATHMANDU: The song ‘Dhago Chhinyo Chharkako’ from the upcoming film ‘Jhingedau 2’ has gained significant popularity on social media ahead of the Teej festival. The song has surpassed 2.5 million views on YouTube within six days of its release. Featuring vocals by Rachana Rimal and Eleena Chauhan, the track has been well-received by audiences, particularly for the chemistry displayed by actresses Keki Adhikari and Aanchal Sharma in the music video. 

The song’s hook line has become a trend on TikTok, and it is increasingly being featured in various Teej events. The production team noted that the film’s teaser, released a month ago, had already generated interest among viewers, and the success of the promotional song has further boosted their expectations for the film’s commercial performance. The previous installment of the franchise also achieved notable business success. 

Directed by Gyanendra Deuja, the film features a cast including Keki Adhikari, Aanchal Sharma, Mahesh Tripathi, Kushal Bista, Hiuwala Gautam, Aryan Sigdel, Basundhara Bhusal, Chaitya Devi Singh, Saroj Khanal, Sangam Bhandari, and Abhayraj Baral. The film explores a family drama centered on the relationship and conflicts between sisters-in-law.
