‘Mama…’: Ukraine envoy reads out Russian soldier's last text home at UNGA

During an emotional speech at the UNGA, Ukraine's ambassador to the UN, Sergiy Kyslytsya, held up images of what he said were the final text messages from a Russian soldier to his mother before he was killed. "Mama, I'm in Ukraine. I'm afraid," Kyslytsya said, reading the messages. "They call us fascists. Mama, this is so hard." Kyslytsya also invoked Hitler over Russia’s nuclear threat. He said, “‘If [Putin] wants to kill himself, he doesn’t need to use the nuclear arsenal. He has to do what the guy in Berlin did in a bunker in May 1945.” Watch the full video for more.
