Pakistan's team has reached the final on the basis of luck. After the defeat against India, the Pakistan team also lost against Zimbabwe. After the failure of Babar and Rizwan, Iftikhar Ahmed and Shan Masood handled the innings and took the team to a fighting score. third match
Pakistan beat Netherlands by six wickets in their third match and secured two points with their first win in the tournament. The Netherlands team was able to score only 91 runs in this match and Pakistan easily won the match in 13.5 overs losing four wickets. However, players like Babar Rizwan could not perform as expected in this match as well.
fourth match
Pakistan's fourth match was with South Africa. Due to the brilliant batting of Iftikhar Ahmed and Shadab Khan, Pakistan scored a score of 185 runs. In response, South Africa's team was able to score only 108 runs and lost the match by 33 runs under the Duckworth-Lewis method. Now South Africa had five points and Pakistan had four points.
fifth match
Pakistan beat Bangladesh by five wickets in their last match. Bangladesh team scored 127 runs while batting first. Chasing a small target in this match, Pakistan's Rizwan got a life on the score of zero.
