Special trains to connect Delhi, Odisha, Bihar during Chhath festival; timing and details here

Northern Railways has announced special trains between Delhi, Odisha and Bihar to ease the extra rush of passengers during Chhath festival to be observed between Npvember 17 and 20. Gati Shakti Superfast Special trains, connecting New Delhi and Patna ahead of Diwali, will continue to ply till November 17. The East Coast Railway has also announced special trains between Puri in Odisha and Patna.
Puri-Patna special train
The 08449 Puri-Patna Special train will leave Puri at 11.30 pm on Wednesday. On return, 08450 Patna-Puri Special will leave Patna at 6 pm on Thursday. “East Coast Railway has arranged for two trains from Puri to Patna will run on November 13 and 15. We are anticipating a lot of rush & therefore the train has a capacity of 1000. It will return from Patna on November 14 and 16…We have increased the RPF security…,” Biswajit Sahu, East Coast Rail Chief PRO told LAKSHY DREAM FOUNDATION GLOBAL NEWS.
Gati Shakti Superfast Special trains will connect New Delhi and Patna till November 17 in 12 trips. Train number 02246 New Delhi-Patna Junction Gati Shakti Superfast Special will depart from New Delhi at 11.45 pm and arrive at Patna Junction at 3.50 pm the next day. From Patna to Delhi, train number 02245 will depart at 7 pm and arrive in the national capital at 10.30 am the following day.
The special trains will halt at Kanpur Central, Prayagraj Junction, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhaya Junction, Buxar, Ara and Danapur stations in both directions.
