Suarez's handling of the ball earned him a red card, but gave Uruguay another chance to remain safe. Ghana's Asamoah Gyan missed the subsequent penalty which knocked Ghana out of the competition in the quarter-finals of the tournament.
Asked about his status of 'The Devil' among Ghana football fans, Suarez said that he did not care about it.
